Privacy
Updated November 2, 2026MyLedger is a personal ledger for income, expenses, optional commissions and project planning. Each signed-in person has a separate private ledger.
Google sign-in and cloud storage
Google supplies your account identifier, name, email and profile picture to sign you in and personalize the app. MyLedger requests basic identity information, not access to Gmail, Google Drive, contacts or bank accounts. Ledger entries, preferences, backups and private Workflow boards are stored with Google Firebase and associated with your account identifier.
On your device
The app keeps preferences, guest Workflow tasks and account-specific recovery copies in browser storage. Recovery copies help protect unsaved work; anyone who can access your browser profile may be able to access locally stored information. Cloud data remains associated with its owner when accounts change.
The Assistant
Supported ledger notes and basic balance answers can be interpreted on your device. When Cloud AI is enabled and needed for interpretation, your message and limited relevant ledger context are sent through MyLedger’s authenticated server to the configured AI provider. This release uses Cloudflare Workers AI. Provider handling is subject to the provider’s own terms and privacy practices. Employees do not supply AI provider keys. Turn off Cloud AI in the Assistant to use on-device interpretation only.
Sharing Workflow
Workflow stays private until you choose Share Workflow. Anyone with that link can see the published task titles, notes, costs, progress, order and dates, including future updates. Ledger transactions and your account email are not included in the public snapshot. Stop Sharing revokes the link. A recipient may retain a copy they already viewed.
Your choices and copies
You can export ledger data, change or delete entries, and use the app’s data-reset controls. Archiving preserves records; it does not delete them. Earlier copies may remain in device recovery storage or cloud backups. Contact support for account-data questions or deletion assistance.
Service providers and contact
Google provides identity and database services. Cloudflare hosts this app and its server-side AI integration. When Cloud AI is enabled, Groq may process the prompt and limited ledger context as the primary model provider, with Cloudflare Workers AI as a fallback. These services process operational information needed to deliver the app. MyLedger does not sell ledger entries or request bank-login credentials.
